Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

The short version: Maestro collects nothing. There's no account, no tracking, no analytics, and no servers of ours. The app talks only to your Sonos speakers on your own Wi-Fi. Your music and your home stay your business.

Maestro for Sonos (“Maestro”, “we”) is a local-first controller for Sonos speakers, made by Aquidigital Ltd. This policy explains what Maestro does and doesn't do with your information.

Data we collect

None. Maestro does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. We have no user accounts and operate no servers that receive your data.

How Maestro works

Maestro discovers and controls Sonos speakers entirely over your local network. Commands (play, pause, volume, grouping, and so on) are sent directly from your device to your speakers. This communication does not pass through us and does not leave your home network.

Analytics & tracking

There is no analytics, no telemetry, and no advertising in Maestro. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs, and we do not build a profile of you or your listening.

On-device storage

Maestro stores your preferences and saved Scenes locally on your device (and, where applicable, in your private iCloud/App Group container so widgets and companions can read them). This stays on your devices; it is not sent to us.

Third parties

Maestro is not affiliated with Sonos, Inc. When you play from a music service through your Sonos system, that service's own privacy practices apply to your use of it — Maestro simply tells your speakers what to do.

Children

Maestro is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
